It provides users with downloadable materials such as the MEC™ Service Handbook, comprehensive product catalogs, and brochures, streamlining the process of obtaining relevant information.

One notable feature of the app is its capability to facilitate the completion of both the Gas System Check and the Gas Appliance System Check electronically.

• Gas System Check
  • Customer Info: Allows for the capture of detailed customer account information including Account Number, Email, Address, and Invoice Number.
  • Container Info: Enables documentation of tank specifications such as size, Serial Number, Manufacturer, and Date of Manufacture.
  • Regulator Check: Provides a platform for documenting regulator locations (e.g., Tank, House, Garage) and allows for selecting Vent Position. The integrated Scan function simplifies noting regulator details by scanning barcodes to autofill information.
  • Pressure Test: This crucial installation task can be documented effectively, capturing both starting and ending pressures along with timestamps marking the commencement and conclusion of the test.
  • System Leak Test: Similar to the Pressure Test, this feature captures starting and ending pressure readings along with associated timestamps at the testing location.
  • Notes: Technicians can document repair notes or additional pertinent information regarding each installation.
  • Installation Photos: Users can upload installation photos directly into the Gas Check Form without affecting phone galleries; these images are embedded within the document.
  • Installation Review: Technicians can respond to “Yes” or “No” questions from the traditional form and provide an electronic signature.
  • Customer Acknowledgement: Customers are also able to answer “Yes” or “No” questions and sign electronically.
  • Send System Check: Upon completion, a PDF version of the Gas Check form can be promptly emailed to both the Customer and office.
• Gas Appliance System Check
  • Customer Info: Similar functionality as in the Gas System Check for capturing customer-specific details.
  • Appliance Check: Technicians can assess appliances systematically, documenting each component’s status with “Yes,” “No,” or “N/A” options where applicable.
  • Notes: Repair notes or relevant information concerning installations can be captured here as well.
  • Installation Photos: Installation-related images may be included in the Gas Appliance Form without saving them to device galleries, ensuring documentation integrity.
  • Installation Review: Enables technicians to respond to predetermined questions and sign off electronically.
  • Customer Acknowledgement: Allows customers to confirm their understanding and provide electronic signatures on the form.
  • Send System Check: The completed Gas Appliance System Check form can also be efficiently emailed as a PDF to both the Customer and office.
